Angelia's PaperCrafts

figuring it all out...

Just finished taking pictures of somethings I have made recently (shhhh for Christmas gifts) and some not so recentlly.  I love cards and seem especially drawn to minis.  I am not posting any of my "beginning" projects as they do not warrant recognition (lol - we all had to start somewhere right?)  if there were a level below beginner that would have been me :)

Through lots of practice, I am now becoming comfortable with my projects to post as a novice.  I do love papercrafts and find it to be very therapeutic!  Comments are welcome as always!

Tag Swap

Below are the tags I have made for KinderStampo's December tag swap.
The theme is "Pink Winter Wonderland".
This is my first attempt at a tag swap so I hope you enjoy the tags.
On the left hand side is the front of the tag which has a pocket with a mini tag.
On the right hand side is the backside of the large tag and the backside of the mini tag.  There are spots for journaling on both tags.
The stamp at the bottom of the large tag reads "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas".
I have made 15 of these and the paper for the front are different on several of them.
The lighting in my craft area is certainly not the best, but I hope you can see these pretty well.
The tags have glitter, distressed edges with pink ink, seven stamps were used on each one for layered stamping, embossing with clear Utee, prima flower with jewel centers,
and the paper is Mind's Eye paper line.
I really had fun making these and hope to participate in more swaps!

Welcome to My First Blog!

I am so excited to introduce my new blog dedicated to those who have inspired me to pursue my papercrafting passion on a much wider scale.  I truly love to use papercraft as my therapy after a facing numerous challenges daily as an administrator of an inner city school.  While I love my job, there certainly is a need to transition to some "normalcy" on a daily basis and papercrafts certainly allows this transition to take place without anyone getting hurt in the process - hee hee.  Please feel free to comment as I love to find ways to explore new creative options and learn how to improve on my craft.  I would love to teach on a wider scale the techniques I have learned and love...

As I become more proficient in these new gadgets, I will be posting videos and pictures of my projects.  Oh and yes, I do have a Cricut Expression and the Design Studio -- and I love, love, love them both :)

Thanks for visiting my small spot on the web!
